Senior Urban Specialist - World Bank
Beatriz Eraso is a Senior Urban Specialist at the World Bank, based in Nairobi. She currently manages the World Bank urban portfolio in Kenya, including the Second Kenya Urban Support Program and the Second Kenya Informal Settlement Improvement Project. Amongts others, she works on issues of urban planning and resilience, affordable housing, and urban financing. Previously she worked in the Latin America Region in projects related to urban upgrading, public spaces, housing, and territorial development. Before joining the urban team, she worked as carbon finance specialist at the World Bank and the private sector providing support for projects in the areas of transport, energy efficiency, renewable energy and solid waste management. Beatriz holds a Master in Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University with specialization in Energy, Resources and Environment, and a B.Sc and M.Sc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Vigo (Spain).
