Leslie Ohomele

Associate Director of International Projects - The King's Foundation

Leslie Ohomele is Associate Director of International Projects at The King’s Foundation. Leslie is a fully qualified architect with over twenty-five years of experience in the construction industry and a record of successful project delivery from concept and feasibility through to construction and completion. In the course of his career, he has delivered high-value, large-scale, and complex projects in a variety of sectors at all stages from concept design through to completion on site.


Leslie’s interest in cultural and contextual influences on architectural typologies and symbology, and his passion for sustainable development planning especially in developing countries has led to his current role at The King’s Foundation, where he is the project lead for the master planning and delivery of an exemplar new town. He is also charged with the development of live-build demonstration projects related to the Rapid Planning Toolkit for Urban Expansion, and to the larger vision of encouraging the development of sustainable communities globally.


Leslie is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, as well as listed on the Architects Registration Board register of architects, and in his spare time is a keen cyclist.
