His work includes launching innovative donor-funded programs, leading major organizational transformations, and championing trade and investment as levers for development. 

A trusted advisor to boards, C-suite executives, governments, and businesses across Africa, Max is known for building powerful coalitions that translate vision into lasting impact. He brings a distinctive "glocal" perspective - globally connected, locally grounded, and strategically driven - whether navigating global boardrooms or shaping policy on the ground.

Max currently serves as CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce Kenya, a leading business network at the nexus of public policy and private sector engagement. In this role, he drives two-way trade and investment between Kenya and the U.S., advancing economic opportunity and transforming lives. Previously, he co-founded and led ATOM-TDF, a boutique consulting firm advising boards and business leaders across Africa.
